Amber and the Traveler's damage sucks a lot (TBH) and aside from the fact they are the first two characters, in-game Amber has came in physical contact with Aether. Honestly, the best ship for the traveler would be Amber. Keqing x Aether: Most ships the two people are from the same nation, while the traveler is from Mondstadt when you search him up on Traveler Fandom while Keqing is from Liyue, so that doesnt make any sense. I disagree with Keqing x Aether and Zhongli x Ningguang.
